1. What is KRP?
KRP stands for "KIDS
Review Program" and is my way of
a) increasing
the usefulness of this page by having more reviews of anime
b) letting
newer anime fans know "what's good"
c)
giving those anime fans who enjoy expressing themselves a chance to
do so
d)
giving back free anime to those who donate their time and thoughts
2. How Does It Work?
Basically, the main idea goes
something like this: KRP members will receive one
dollar off any request for each review
they write and I use. Now for the more
detailed approach:
A member
of the KRP can, at any time s/he chooses, write a review for one of the
anime titles available on my site,
provided:
a)
s/he reserves it first (please check KRP Requests)
b) the
title has not been released commercially in the United States
c)
it is truly his/her own work -- NOT gaffled off some other fansub site,
NOT
the
synopsis on the back of the LD -- but your OWN work.
d)
it conforms to the requirements listed in Review
Specifications.
After
submitting a review, I will read it over, decide whether I want to
put it up on
my page, post it if I decide
to do so, and then update the KRP Status Page,
if
necessary. All decisions
are mine alone and I reserve the right to refuse to post a
review for any reason I see fit.
For each review used, I will
award the KRP member with 1 credit. For each
Descriptive Summary used I will
award the KRP member with 2 credits. Each
credit is worth $1.00 off any
request (for VHS, SVHS, PreviewCD, or any mix
of them). There is no limit to
the number of credits that can be used at once,
though no change will be given for
partially used credits.
3. How Do I Join?
Sound good? Here's how to join:
1. Visit
the KRP Membership Form page and follow
the 10 easy steps.
Basically,
the form asks you a few questions about your anime likes
and
dislikes. The information will be used as an info page (view
mine
as
a sample) and is created to help other fans get a feel for what type
of
anime fan you are.
2.
Email
your answers to me.
3.
I will email you back when I have completed your page. I will send
you the
URL
for your page. View it, and let me know if it is okay. If it is, then
email
me and tell me, and then you will be a KRP member!
4. How Do I Write a Review?
There are basically 4 steps to writing
the review, and they should be followed more
or less in order. They are:
1. Visit
the KRP Reviews Page to see which titles
need reviews and aren't
already
reserved. Email
me to reserve the title(s) you would like to review.
2.
Watch the anime (duh!)
3.
Write the review. Note that the review MUST conform to ALL of the
specifications
on the Review Specifications page.
4.
Email
or snail mail your review to me. I will look it over and decide if I will
post
it or not. If I post it, you will receive "1 credit" on
the KRP Status Page.
When
you are ready to make a request simply email me and let me know
how
many KRP credits you want to use and I will deduct $1.00 for each
credit
used.
Note:
You are no longer required to reserve
a title for reviewing before
submitting
a review; however, priority and preference will be given
to
those who reserve a title and then submit a review and/or summary
for
that title before the posted due date. If the submission is not made
by
the deadline, these special privileges will be lost and the review
and/or
summary may not be accepted.
