REVIEW of:
Weiß Kreuz
(White Cross)
![]() |
Fujimiya Aya, Ken Hidaka, Kudou Yoji and Tsukiyono Omi are four handsome guys working in a flower shop attracting many young girls to buy their flowers. During the night, however, they are assassins working to fight against the criminals of the night. Their missions are usually successful and they always maintain their anonymity against the crime group "Schwartz." Everything is back to normal. The group's motivation to fight is unclear. Yet as the story progresses, each person will have their terrifying secret past revealed. The men will realize that they actually do not know each other as clearly as they thought, and the series seems to complicate and reveal more surprises to the viewers. WeiB Kreuz (also spelled as Weiss Kreuz) is pronounced as "vice kroytz." All the show titles are also in German. The television show first aired on April 8, 1998. - Hanako |

| Comments | A lot of girls like this series and so do a lot of guys (for different reasons, I believe). Even though this series is one of my favorites, there were some things in here that disappointed me. I thought it was very odd for a group of guys to be working at a flower shop. I didn't like how the characters were drawn; the colors weren't bright. Just to let you know, all the murders are censored. Now I know that this series isn't for little kids, but for some reason the show cuts off all the goryness of stabbing, slashing...well, you get the point. But I still thought there were parts that were very good. When I saw the first four episodes, I thought it was going to be like one of those murder mysteries where the good guys defeat the bad guys. When I progressed to the next 6 or 7 episodes, I realized that there was a dark secret of each man. This was characterized by the flashbacks the show presents every now and then. There were also hidden secrets that the main characters did not know about themselves. Since I love mysteries, I was encouraged to progress all the way to the end. And yes, even though I'm not particularily fond of fighting series, this one had enough mystery to keep me hanging on. If you want a series with lots of action and mystery, Weiß (or Weiss) Kreuz is it. In fact...you may find that it's worth watching just to see the ending alone. | ||
